well in virtually all countries violent crime is much higher around major cities than it is in more rural locations, so that's no surprise.
the problem in the states is a national one rather than local. even if gun laws are strict in one state, you can just cross into another state with more lax laws and buy a gun privately or at a gun show with zero background checks.
for instance, chicago police reported that 60% of guns from crime scenes that were recovered and traced were acquired out of state.

Others say the US has fucked over the Kurds many times in history; not come to their aid as promised and so on. Now that I think about it, maybe a year ago a friend took a Kurd to over to my place and we had a long discussion on many topics, my friend actually fell asleep and wanted to go home but the Kurd loved debating with me and didn't want to leave LOL. Some are afflicted by TDS because Trump doesn't go far enough in curbing replacement of whites in the US. He isn't racist enough in fact. Now I'm not a US citizen obviously but I can have an ideological position on things nevertheless. Some "America firsters" are disappointed in him because he, and JD Vance, don't see it as a problem that Indians with H1B visas are replacing white Americans in the Silicon Valley and elsewhere. Trump has told officials to tone down talk about mass deportations of illegal "Mexicans"; obviously industry told him they needed them. Of course the talk about mass deportations was ridiculous on its face from the start but many Trump supporters bought it. The new MAGA consists of people like Ben Shapiro who says "I don't give a damn about the browning of America."
It's great and funny that Trump and Vance are talking about the situation with Europe and are affirming the replacement "conspiracy theory" and supporting parties like the AfD but it seems much too late and you can question the motivations behind the rhetoric.
Hopefully Americans have learned a lesson about their 'friends' in the Middle East and their backers.

The past wk I’ve talked to and hung around a lot of Europeans since they are in town for the World Cup in Texas. From Croatia fans, English, Netherlands, Japanese, some Swedes, they all love it here and some said they would move down here haha!I've seen a few of them complaining about the heat. Seems overall like positive experiences are being reported.
Lots of drinking and partying with them , have yet to discuss men in thongs with them, have to keep my American masculinity intact for the meantime
