I only watch the college teams now.

Last time I tried to watch the NBA they were just traveling and chucking 3 pointers.
Offense without defense isnt worth watching too.

They certainly won’t be battling for white supremacy!

an NBA analyst said that he doesn’t believe that there is a team that can beat the Spurs four times in a 7 game series.

Abso-FREAKING-lutly!  Wemby is astonishing! The supporting cast of Castle, Vassel, Harper, Champigne, Fox and the rest put us in a great position to contend for the title for a while I like the new coach Mitch Johnson as well and of course Popp and R.C. are in the front office. .

In regards to the playoffs now, Castle has to stop these turnovers, it's killing us. Hopefully Harper and Fox are ok to go tonight, we need a good ball handler to set things up.

Those fucking refs are letting OKC get away with murder on Wemby. That 7ft flagrant phaggot Isaiah Hartenstein is on Wemby like spandex and it's bullshit.

Anyway, Go Spurs Go!

I am a Knicks fan. Thank God they didn’t have to face The Pistons in the playoffs. I don’t think that the Knicks can beat the Spurs 4 times in a 7 game series at this point in time.

But I do believe that the Knicks beat the Spurs twice during the regular season. So it is possible.

What the Knicks are doing is unprecedented. I cannot count them out. They have destroyed their opponents.  They had a +225 point differential over 10 straight playoff games / that has never even happened regular season.

They did, but like I said, the level of dominance exceeded what any team has done in the regular season.

They could have handled the Celtics, as they did last year, even with Tatum.

And how good was Detroit, they almost lost to the 8 seed before bowing to Cleveland, who NY destroyed.

Detroit is good. They need more depth or at least another guy who can get his own shot. I like how the Knicks match up against this spurs team

Detroit beat the Knicks on a regular basis in the regular season. I was definitely nervous about Detroit.

That said, The Orlando Magic were a bad matchup for the Pistons. Orlando kicked their ass. Orlando should have won that series. I think it was rigged. The Magic were about to eliminate the Pistons in Detroit in game 6, I believe. Detroit was down by 24 points or so in the middle of the 3rd quarter.

Somehow, the Orlando Magic proceeded to miss 23 consecutive shot attempts. I believe that it was said that the Magic went about 45 minutes (real time) without making a single basket.

Regular season meant shit - Knicks were not the same team they are now.  I know matchups count, but I'm not willing to just  hand it to Detroit.

Before the playoffs if you told me the Knicks would make the finals, A. I would not have agreed and B. I'd have said they'd get destroyed by either OKC or San Antonio.  Now, I'm not so sure.  I really like both teams and I am now expecting a tightly contested series.  All this down time though probably isn't great for the Knicks.

He looks so short on TV but is like 6’2 which I guess is pretty small by NBA standards.

There was no way I could fall asleep during that.  I made the mistake of turning off the game vs Cleveland when they were down 22 or something with 9 left and woke up and saw they won by 11.   Can't make that mistake again.

But yeah, were were joking that Brunson looks 5'5"

We are fucking cooked. That lack of experience is really showing its ugly head. The Knicks' experience, poise and closer in Jalen Brunson is just too much for this young and inexperienced team. I'm still team Spurs but I acknowledge great team when I see one. We'll see what happens in New York now.

wemby needs a co-star. Fox is not it and the only one that has the ability to become that on the roster is harper. Castle is good, but I don't see superstar potential.

They need to consolidate some of the guard talent and make a path for a harper/castle backcourt and see if they can swing fox for a mobile big who can help on defense and bang inside with victor on the floor. A jermaine o neal, rasheed wallace, kenyon martin type.

I don't think you're cooked, and I expect Wemby to be MVP for the next few years.

But it is entirely true the Knicks are getting in the young man's head, and forcing mistakes.

Plus, NY is incredibly balanced, and can pick up the slack when Brunson struggles, as they did yesterday.

And I know the officials are consistently awful, but NY had to overcome like 10 free points handed to SA yesterday.

The knicks have a 1a and 2a in KAT with incredible balance. They also have two elite defensive wings and the size to match wemby and kornet.

Spurs have a 1a but who steps up after that is a crap shoot. Fox isn't a star unfortunately.

Fox is good. He was/is injured and his game is off, plus he also has almost zero playoff experience.  He carried a woeful Kings team to the playoffs. It’s a learning process. Fox is probably gone anyhow because Harper has grown during this playoffs.

Brunson has lost in the  conference  finals and has overcome adversity with the Knicks (it’s crazy that he has developed into what he is, but even crazier the Mavs had him and Luka on the same team and couldn’t figure it out).

Also who’s the Rasheed, JO, KMart type guy into today’s NBA. Arron Gordon was that type of difference maker for the Nuggets. KAT would be in that category, miscast as the number 1 guy but an incredible 2nd option. Maybe Micheal Porter?

But to be fair, they were not this team at that point.

Everything is clicking right now, and everyone is on the same page.

Cool article in the Post about how the assistant coach was the one pushing for the challenge on OG's foul that literally probably won the game for them.

He is going on 29 now so I don't think there is much upside left. His game relied heavily on athleticism and his insane speed which will only decrease. I see a john wall like drop off for him.

He is what he is now. I agree with you on harper, he is the future PG.

Ya Aaron gordon was who I was thinking but he is still smaller than those guys. Those fellas could guard 4's and 5's. I am having a hard time picturing who it could be that's a good enough two way big. Someone like scotties barnes, but he is undersized for anything more than super limited small ball 5 lineups.

He is going on 29 now so I don't think there is much upside left. His game relied heavily on athleticism and his insane speed which will only decrease. I see a john wall like drop off for him.

He is what he is now. I agree with you on harper, he is the future PG.

Good take. I can’t disagree. I forgot how long he’s been in the league and how old he is.I do think he’s on the trading block this year if they can get anything decent for him.

Those mid 90’s guys were the evolution of the sport, but we don’t see the Joe Smith, Antonio McDyesse, Robert Horry big who is a solid contributor.

Guys like Porzingas or Chet Holmgren would be most comparable I think.

President Trump and the Secret Service are going to have Madison Square Garden on lockdown on Monday night.

Stephen A Smith would be wise to keep his yap shut.

Bayless has a tweet from each game implying the Knicks were going to lose each one.
I can't stand that old windbag.

I had to bet the Spurs getting 1.5 points. The Knicks have won a lot of games in a row.

Spurs started quickly, but no lead is safe in this series.

Looking forward to game 4. Trump won't be there so things will be more, "normal" and NY is in a must win scenario.  If they lose and go back to SA tied with SA having home court advantage again,  not good. Also, the Spurs would have momentum and confidence needed to finish them off.

Two flagrants not called on Wemby.

Don't worry, they want this to go 7.

Tell Brunson to stop holding Wemby and he won't have to slap him off like a fly.

It should have been a double flagrant for that on Wemby.

Then he did the same thing to Hart that Brunson got called for on Wemby - affecting the landing.

No call.

Victor Wembanyama is the new face of the NBA. The refs will not get in his way.

During the playoff series against the Timberwolves, Wembanyama brutally elbowed an opposing player in the throat.

The average NBA player would have been suspended for the remainder of the series. Not Wembanyama. Wemby was ejected from the game, and he received no suspension.

It’s just the way it is.

It certainly seems that way.

The guy who trains the refs gave one of the worst non answers we've seen - they have a legit credibility problem right now.

Also, how about that bench clearing almost brawl by the Knicks, surely some of them should be suspended for coming off the bench. That IS the rule. Anyway, PLAYBALL.

I totally expect them to try to get back at Wemby tonight since they didn't get the flagrant 1 or 2. I know it's a cliché saying but this is a must win for the Knicks tonight.

If they don't,  they're in a really bad situation.

Ok, suspend some of them, and Wemby.  It's laughable how bad the officiating is anyway - look how many challenges are correct.

I think it's a must win too.

Charles Barkley does not like Wemby. Barkley was trashing Wemby in the series against OKC. I honestly think that Barkley doesn’t want to see a 22 year old take over the NBA.

I turned the game off in the 3rd quarter thinking it was over.

Most folks did.

There was nothing indicating that this was anything but a beat down from SA.

Once again, horrid officiating.

If you are going to have a review process, and still get it wrong, what is the point?  I still legit don't understand the second foul on KAT, or how the reviewed Wemby non foul wasn't flagrant.

Knicks need to beat this team this year, because as the Spurs mature, they're going to be unstoppable for a bit.

I don’t think the spurs will continue or sustain its dominance

NBA can’t have a boring ass shit hole city San Antonio the face of the NBA again. It’s already bad enough with OKC

They need Boston, Miami, LA, NYC, etc

Props for this.

Had to beat Spurs while they are young and dumb.  They will be an absolute force the next few years.

NBA has a serious officiating problem.  These were not 50-50 tossup calls that were missed.  They were textbook violations, which were not called, not called properly, or even reviewed and gotten wrong.
