Yes. Lisbon has become a shithole. Natives of Lisbon are too soft and welfare recepients.
Up North things are different.
Luckly many are leaving because life is becoming too expensive, and wages are increasingly unable to make people live with dignity.

Yes, we speak with our mouths closed and about 30% of the air flows through the nose, giving that "russian" lookalike sound. Brasilian portuguese is more "open" due to the italian influence, maybe some africaneese also.

I went on a tour of the Douro and one of the guides was from closer to Lisbon, so the ones from Porto were giving him shit and calling him a "moor." ;D
