From the front Alves was on par with pretty much the elite of his day.  He slipped from the side shots and slipped even more from the rear.  Mainly because of his lack of hamstring development and poor conditioning from the side and rear shots on his lower half.

Back was indeed solid.  Legs sucked ass from side and rear views.  State level at best.
