To me, one of the loverliest of ladies from early Hollywood.

Gail Russell. She died of alcohol poisoning. Literally drank herself to death. Pickeled.

My two favorite films with her are "Angel and the Badman" and "The Uninvited".

Another beauty is Joanne Dru. My favorite film with her is "Red River".

I sometimes visit http://www.briansdriveintheater.com/index.html for fun but it does hurt to read about the passing of some of the actors and actresses of one's childhood.
